Please note: From 12 to 20 April 2025, due to Holy Week, tickets to Machu Picchu are sold out. During those days, the Hiram Bingham train ticket will not include entrance to the citadel. If you bought your train ticket before 17 February 2025, no need to worry, as your access to Machu Picchu is assured.
General Notice Experiences Associated with the Hiram Bingham Train
The Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Cusco has limited tickets for Machu Picchu, so on the Hiram Bingham, A Belmond Train service, we can only guarantee entry to the citadel for passengers with tickets issued at least 45 days before the trip. In high demand seasons, we recommend purchasing tickets further in advance to ensure access to Machu Picchu.
We also let you know that, due to the capacity and demand of visitors to the Llaqta, we are not in a position to ensure entry tickets to Machu Picchu for the passengers who buy at the last moment.
In case of modifications or cancellations, once the train tickets have been issued, the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu associated with the original date of travel will be cancelled and its cost will be deducted from the corresponding refund.
